Home Care Package funds may be used for a wide range of supports that assist clients to live safely and independently at home. This includes direct care services, domestic assistance, transport, social support, care management, assistive technology, minor home maintenance, gardening, and care-related consumables. All supports are aligned with the client’s assessed needs, care plan goals, and consumer choice, and are regularly reviewed to ensure appropriateness and value for money.
Social Support
We provide social support services to help older people stay connected, engaged, and supported in their daily lives. Our social support focuses on reducing isolation, promoting wellbeing, and supporting meaningful participation in the community.
Social support may include:
Companionship and social interaction

Home and Garden Maintenence
We provide home and garden maintenance support to help older people live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Services focus on maintaining a safe, tidy, and accessible environment and reducing risks that may impact daily living.
Home and garden maintenance may include:
Basic garden upkeep such as lawn mowing and light weeding
Minor household tasks that support safety and accessibility
Assistance with outdoor areas to reduce trip and fall hazards
Services are provided in line with individual needs and do not include trade-restricted or specialist work.
Support with Daily Activities
We provide assistance with everyday tasks to support older people to live independently and maintain their usual routines. Support is delivered in a way that promotes choice, dignity, and independence.
